our Medici life

fidm housing is convenient... & that's about it. it's way too expensive, they are completely unorganized, and you're not guaranteed a friendly roommate/housemate. i'll tell you now... it will be a NIGHTMARE to live with someone you don't get along with...
it's nice that student housing at the medici or the met are both very close to campus... but it will suck if you have to live at park la brea or somewhere further where you have to commute to campus. i gotta run, but throw your questions and comments - good luck.....

Which do you think is better, Medici, or The Met? I won't have a car with me when I move out the LA so I was thinking the Met would be best since it's so close to the campus.
What is the atmosphere like around the campus? Are there stores ie. grocery or drugstores close to the campus?
One last question:
Do you know anyone in the Beauty Industry Marketing and Merchadising Program? That is what I'm going to FIDM for and I would love to here a student's experience in that program.
Last question I promise lol:
What program are you taking at FIDM, and are there two of you that run this blog? Just wondering because you have pictures of two people.
Thanks for providing info about FIDM, it's so much better hearing about the school form a students perspective.

The met and medici are horrible places to stay...management sucks..closets are tiny..rooms are tiny and ofcouse downtown la is not the safest place in the world

I've lived in park la brea for two quarters and its awesome...the grove is soo close..wilshire is the street with everything and you always feel safe...even at night

So if you recommend the park la brea, would I apply to the "Mid-city LA" housing on the application? Park la brea is the only one in mid-city right so I would have a better chance to get into that apartment building?
