Hi there,

First things first. You are good enough! You know why? You got in to FIDM. I know what its like to do those projects, how time consuming it is, how much excitement, passion, and creativity went into them, how unsure and scary the whole process can be. You did it and they obviously loved your work or you wouldn't be here :) Leave that "not good enough" fear alone! You can do this. My recommendation to you would be make yourself business cards, begin to put together a resume, start to work on your time management. Ex: If you are going out all the time and hanging out, scale it back because you won't have time when school starts. Along with that create a goal for yourself, make a list of what you expect and hope to accomplish at FIDM. Last thing, when that first day of school comes I hope you turn on that smile, introduce yourself, and share that firm handshake with those you meet. Its okay to put yourself out there. We all share the same love. The love for fashion and creativity. :) I wish you all the best and if you ever need a FIDM friend my email is

All the best,

Indigo Charles
